Makeover – Columbia Home August/September Issue

Our first makeover collaboration with Columbia Home has hit newsstands and we’re LOVING the results!  For each issue we’ll be helping a fashionably challenged nominee amp up their wardrobe with pieces they wouldn’t normally choose for themselves.  We like to listen to what each nominee likes and pick pieces that accent their style and personality, while showing off their shape.  Each nominee gets a fun-filled day of shopping and pampering, along with a few goodies from the participating stores to help aid their transformation.

The August/September issue featured Kari Laudano, business owner and ballroom dancer, who went for ‘low maintenance’ and neutral clothing before her transformation.  We helped Kari choose figure flattering pieces that accentuated her body and showed her how to add pops of color to her outfits.

The top left photo features Erin tying the infamous Ada Obi Wrap Belt around Kari’s waist.  Bottom left on the second page is Kari in the Greylin Travis Pintuck Silk Tank, Mother Denim The Looker in Fantasy Forest, BC Slouch Wedge and Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac Clutch in Pink.  Her jewelry includes the Storm Carousel Watch and House of Harlow Leather Stations Necklace in Khaki.  Far right on the second page is Kari in the Greylin Travis Pintuck Silk Tank paired with the Collective Clothing Brushstroke Skirt and cinched at the waist with the Ada Textured Obi Wrap Belt.  Around her neck she wears the Elephant Guardian Statement Necklace.
