Rebecca Beeson’s signature modal fabric is reincarnated with as a sheer slub material that drapes PERFECTLY! We definitely suggest using Hollywood Fashion Tape ($7.95 for a travel tin of 36) if you don’t plan to layer it. We did use HFT/did not layer and the result is a lightweight, semi-sheer sexy cowl neck tee that easily pairs with a number of items. Here we paired it with our new favorite Juicy Couture Cropped Denim Leggings ($128) which, after this photoshoot we have decided are a must-have for every closet this Summer!
The tee is cut to be loose and drapey, but features a contrast twill cinching back “belt” to keep it from feeling shapeless. We had a customer in who purchased this with the bright turquoise Pleasure Doing Business skirt and it looked Ah-mazing! What a perfect way to take it from day to night, especially on vacation! We love versatile items and we love love love this muddied brown with the bright turquoise of the PDB skirt. Can’t stop thinking about it!

One of the most universally flattering tops you can buy, this ruched faux-wrap top with ruffled sleeves is one of Rebecca Beeson’s signature styles, featured in nearly every season and collection she creates. The top above is a pale aqua colored modal with contrasting black mesh trim and side ruching at the waist to help disguise our (ahem)imperfections. We love the combination of the pastel aqua and black edges. It really makes the wrap detail stand out and makes it obvious, this is not your mother’s wrap top. Pair with a pair of short black shorts and heels and you’re ready for a night out or tone it down with a pencil skirt and black tank for work. Either way, you’ll be asking yourself (and us) why you didn’t have this style already.
Rebecca Beeson Mesh Trim Wrap Top - $68.00
Juicy Couture Sailor Chino Shorts - $98.00
This black and white outfit is the perfect example of how to make an impact and be comfortable in black during the summer. Some people shy away from black items in the summer because they’re afraid it will be too hot and look too wintery, however, if you pair the right pieces you can be chic in black no matter what the weatherman says!
Here we kept things simple by maintaining a color palette of black, white and silver but chose items that would make an impact rather than opting for a color or pattern. The top has the brushed silver oversized grommets and the slub texture so we added a brushed silver dramatic necklace to dress up the look and keep it from looking too masculine. We love the fit of these Free People Paint Splatter Shorts and like the extra texture and dimension that the ‘paint splatters’ add. Lastly, we get to Carly, our Kelsi Dagger sandal boot. I haven’t taken these off since we got done shooting yesterday and I have gotten soooo many compliments! I am completely obsessed with them—especially since they’re so comfortable!
