Gorgeous doesn’t even begin to describe how stunning this dress is in person. This strapless silk dress is pleated from top to bottom and has a matching waist belt for shape. I’m speechless just thinking about it—you should definitely come drool over it with us in person!
Looking for an inexpensive wedding dress? This dress is also available in a full-length version by special order—just ask! And before you do ask, yes, it is that beautiful.
French Connection Shelby’s Summer Belted Dress - $198.00
I can go on and on about how much I love this dress, but I’ll limit myself to why and how I wore it—First, the color. You can’t go wrong with a bright coral dress in the spring and summer. It’s one of the most universally flattering colors and looks amazing against sun-kissed skin (tip: corals, some oranges and yellows have a tendency to enhance your tan and make you look even darker!) Next, it self belts with a ruched channel in the back meaning no belt needed—it brought its own. The cuffed cap sleeves hit at just the right length and keep this simple silk number interesting along with the front mini pocket and the rounded hem that cuts up a little on the sides (to flatter your legs!) Now, to the howIworeit part—since it was cold, I put a pair of faux-leather leggings underneath and a bright purple blazer on top and accessorized with neon yellow and black jewelry. I love the colorblock neon look and definitely plan to rock this throughout the season—hopefully with bare legs next time!
French Connection Shyanne Tie Waist Dress - $168.00
The chambray denim French Connection button-up shirt we had last week FLEW out of here so I’m sure this equally lust-worthy lightweight blazer won’t be here long either! Paired with the white linen Annaliese Dress by BB Dakota an ADA Ocho Belt and ikat print scarf, we demonstrate that you can layer in the spring, too!
