Playsuits For Every Occasion

I've been a romper lover ever since I was a child (easy transition for the overall princess) and can't seem to kick the habit!  They are hands down the easiest piece to throw on in my closet especially when I'm in a rut.  While, they used to be mostly casual - we've got a ton of versatile styles for every type of woman.  Scroll down for work-inspired, day and play!

The Alice Jumpsuit by Elliatt is a favorite for work.  Yes, the cutouts may not make it appropriate for your office, but the fashion girl has it made with this one!  The cinched waist balances out the loose hips and cutout bodice while the tapered leg makes it ultra flattering.  Throw on a structured blazer to cover up during the day.  Add a fun twist by pairing it with a print on top or through your accessories!

The most important things to remember when choosing a work friendly romper are length, body fit (it shouldn't be super tight) and material.  Work with rompers that are mid thigh or cover your chest region well.  When in doubt, chose a looser fitting style that you can comfortably move around in and easily bend over in.  Material is another attribute to keep in mind - you'll want a heavier fabric or silky feel to add to the dress up factor.

Trying out a romper for the first time?  You'll have so many options to chose from if you're looking for an everyday one - like this MinkPink Somewhere In Time Playsuit.  The fading throughout this chambray romper adds to the casual feel as well as the pockets on each hip.  I absolutely love the cut of this, it shows just enough skin while adding a flirty touch with the cap sleeves.

When choosing a casual romper, honestly anything goes!  Feel free to play around with materials, colors and cuts - and as always, don't forget to accessorize!  Stick with lighweight fabrics in the Summer and for Fall, have fun layering with chunky knits and tights.

For play, choose a romper in a funky color or pattern that also accentuates your best asset.  Most night out rompers have daring necklines or super short hemlines - so definitely have your undergarment situation figured out!  Creating a well rounded night out look focused around a one piece, all depends upon the accessories...get creative, but think about the romper as the main focus.

We're loving how different these two rompers are - cover up in the Keepsake Night After Night and show a little skin in the Reverse Crochet Romper.  Stay simple with accessories in a very printed piece to keep the attention on the romper.  With a black romper, add a punch of color with a cute clutch or lace up wedges, the sky is the limit!
