BB Dakota, Summer Has Arrived!

clip_image001[7]

No matter what the occasion, BB Dakota has your wardrobe covered!  Lady-like dresses, feminine blouses, and the perfect breezy summer shirts have hit the racks from one of our favorite brands.

From Left:

1. Shown above in Clementine is the BB Dakota Richelle Dress ($85).  This sleeveless shift has a scoop neckline and darts in the front and back to provide accent.  The bold color is perfect for any standout occasion and can be transitioned into fall!  We accessorized The Richelle with an ADA obi wrap belt in tan ($70), to cinch the waist, and our Vanessa Mooney turquoise pendant necklace ($65).

2. BB Dakota made the perfect summer shirt, Sarafina ($56), a boxy T with exaggerated sides.  And to top it all off it’s in STRIPES!  The T has a slight cap sleeve and a scoop neck.  It’s shown above in grey and below in a red stripe as well.  We paired it with another piece from the collection: the pull-on Anthony Ruched Skirt ($70).  Drapes lay across the front and back of the skirt with stretch panels on the sides for the right amount of give when walking.  We knotted the Sarafina T and added one of our favorite new pieces, the India Waterfall Necklace ($45).

3.  The BB Dakota Lala Dress ($90) is the same shape as the Richelle but in polyester instead of rayon.  It has an amazingly colorful abstract print!  We broke up the print with an ADA Textured Obi Wrap Belt in winter white ($70) and topped it off with our Blue Moon Necklace ($19).

1. The Sarafina T makes another appearance here, but in the red stripe color way.  Here we paired the comfy T with our 7 For All Mankind Roll-up Short in Nouveau NYD ($148) and the Derby Statement Necklace ($33).  The 4th of July is right around the corner, for a cute and casual day look this would be perfect!

2. Paolo ($60) is an amazing mix of a pattern and color in a tank.  The front has large horizontal black and white stripes, while the back is solid black.  The left and right side panels are a cobalt blue.  We paired Paolo with our Aryn K pleated contrast shorts ($75) and a Hexagonal Pendant Necklace ($35).

3. When in doubt you need a white blouse, right?  The beautiful sleeveless India top ($80) has a v-neckline, a cinched waist, and the perfect collar drape I have ever seen.  It is thoroughly feminine and is amazing paired with a printed short or pant or even a structured pencil skirt.  If you’ve outdid your white blouse quota, India is available in Sevilla Orange as well!  We paired the India with BB Dakota’s Hayley Short ($80) in southwest red.  This neutral print is the perfect foundation for anybody afraid of the printed short trend.  To accessorize we added two small Heishi Strands ($24 each) in copper and brass and our Amulet on a Tiny Heishi Strand ($40).
