Jarlo London

“JARLO is inspired by a love of beautiful things and a passion for collecting beautiful things”

Our buyer, Erin, just recently came across a unique feminine line from London: Jarlo.  The brand started out as a stall in Portobello Road Market in 2008 and has grown to be internationally known.  Carly Hallahan, the designer, offers women vintage silhouettes in gorgeous prints, bold colors and lace.  Her staples are flirty tea dresses, flowing maxi dresses and beautiful coats.  Our first shipment hit the floor today and here’s what we’ve fallen in love with:

shirleyMeet Shirley, a vintage inspired shoe string strap dress with a flowy cream bottom half and a floral print top that drapes slightly.  There is a metallic belt at the waist that is detachable.

Ida, one of Nickie’s favorites, is an amazing cream lace number.  The sleeves hit a little bit above the elbow and are fitted all the way down.  What sets this dress a part from other lace dresses is the slight v-back—an easy way to show a little skin!

Ida Dress - $96

Carrie is the PERFECT dress for summer and it comes in two striped variations*!!  The stripes, the colors..everything screams summer!  There are double shoe string straps on each side and a white belt around the waist.  I’m already planning my outfit for this dress…perfect with the Dolce Vita Julie Wedge and a Deepa Gurnani Headband for some sparkle.

Carrie Dress - $90

bette

We saved the most stunning for last, Bette.  Not only is there intricate beading across the width of each shoulder on this champagne number, but the back leaves you speechless.  From the back, Bette becomes a sultry maxi dress with a deep V and a polyester strap that lays across the shoulder blades.  We’ve fallen in love with Jarlo and can’t wait until our next shipments get here!!

Bette Dress - $128

*Stripe placement on the Carrie dress varies
