TOMS Eyewear Has Arrived!!

The newest endeavor from the inspirational workers at TOMS, is giving sight to those who are in need.  On one of his many shoe drops, Blake Mycoskie realized that the same people receiving his shoes had many more needs that were unmet.  He began to visualize a TOMS that was more than shoes and believed that TOMS should (and could) help to improve as many lives as possible. 

Turning its spotlight again to an easily solvable problem that many of us take for granted--sight. Without sight, someone’s whole life is impacted, as well as the community around them.  Below is the inspiration behind Blake Mycoskie’s newest life-changing mission:

How it works:

 The One for One is a little more specific than just receiving a pair of shoes for each pair sold. Instead, when you buy a pair of TOMS glasses you’re providing full eye care for someone in need.  TOMS has partnered with Sight Giving Partners to either provide prescription glasses, sight-saving surgery, or medical treatment.  Currently, they are helping spread sight in more than ten countries worldwide including:  Cambodia, Nepal, Tibet, Ethiopia, Egypt, Guatemala, Pakistan, India, the United States, Paraguay and Bangladesh.
