Statement Coats of the Season

Coat season is the best season...am I right?  You can instantly add polish to any outfit with the perfect outerwear.  Choose from cozy sherpa adorned jackets, long printed ladylike coats, and uber soft leather jackets oozing with downtown appeal. Don't let temperatures drop too low before you add a fresh coat to your outerwear arsenal.  Meet a few of our favorites below

Suede is trending everywhere this Winter season & Somedays Lovin' hit the nail on the head with their On and On Shearling Jacket in a dark blue with white sherpa lining.  The drape front gives it a relaxed casual vibe, making it the perfect companion for jeans and a plaid shirt for running around.  For a more structured take on the trend, try Capulet's Shearling Collar Moto in a red print and moto silhouette.

We've been seeing long printed coats everywhere since September - they pair back perfectly over a mini dress or turtleneck and mini skirt to beat the cold.  This number from BB Dakota has been our favorite ever since we first laid eyes on it.  The structured nature and long lapels of the Guinevere Coat balance out the rose print so that it doesn't come off too feminine.  If you're in the market for a louder long coat, take a look at Cmeo Collective's colorblocked Nothing In The Way Coat.  This unique coat is a showstopper and has a removable tan band across the lower back.

Everyone needs a leather jacket & that's no exaggeration!  Ever since I scooped up this Cleobella Fringe Jacket, I've been living in it and dreaming of all the other leather jackets I should buy (it's a healthy obsession...really).  A leather jacket truly is one of the most versatile pieces you could add to your closet - wear over mini dresses this holiday season, dress up a casual look with a moto jacket or pull a date night outfit together with a chic jacket.  Have enough black leather jackets?  We also love the BB Dakota Alaura Drape Jacket in bordeaux.  It looks great paired back with jeans or black leather leggings!
